Hey guys!
Today I'm going to recommend a really cool website for anyone who likes old paintings. I've always loved this type of art, and a few years ago I discovered it. Art Renewal Center, an online art gallery/museum containing a vast collection of beautiful works of art.

For fans of the author Eddie Van Feu has probably already seen the painting above in one of her books. She used a lot of material from this website on the covers of the "Wicca Series," and that's how I discovered the gallery.
THE Art Renewal Center (ARC) is an American non-profit cultural organization founded in 2000 by a group of artists seeking to reclaim the values of academicism (a method of teaching art) and realism. ARC is an online art gallery with a vast collection of artworks, as well as articles, reports written by the founders themselves, news, and images.

THE The online collection contains hundreds of artists with works dating from the 19th and 21st centuries. It's a truly vast number of paintings, all organized and cataloged alphabetically, in a very easy and intuitive way to find them.
In addition to housing an online museum, the ARC also holds competitions for realist painters, sculptors, and draftsmen, such as the... ARC Salon Competition, which is known as the largest in the world in this regard, with eleven categories and thousands of artists registered every year.
The ARC website is in English, but I believe this shouldn't be a problem, as it's quite easy to access the online museum section. For those with a better command of the language, I recommend exploring the website more thoroughly, also visiting the articles and news about the foundation.
I HIGHLY recommend visiting this site because it's practically a repository of artworks where you can find many wonderful painters and images that truly inspire you.
Here's the website: https://www.artrenewal.org/
Below, I will show some beautiful works that can be found in the collection, all by painters that I greatly admire:
